Feeding Side

Privacy Policy & Support — effective September 9, 2026

The short version

Feeding Side collects no data. Everything you log stays on your device, and — if you choose to share with a partner — in your own iCloud account. There is still no account to create, no password, and no server of ours involved.

What the app stores

When you tap “Left side” or “Right side,” or log a bottle, the app saves the side, the time and any amount to private storage on your device (an App Group container shared only between the app and its widgets). Photos you add for each side are stored the same way. There is no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs.

Sharing with a partner (iCloud)

Sharing is entirely optional and off until you turn it on. If you tap “Share with your partner,” the app stores your feeding log in your own private iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit, and sends an invitation you can pass to one other person. Once they accept, both phones read and write that same log so it stays current for both of you.

That data lives in your iCloud, under your Apple Account — not on any server we run, and we cannot see it. Apple handles it under Apple’s privacy policy. You can stop sharing at any time from the same screen, which removes the other person’s access.

What we collect

Nothing. We receive no information about you or your use of the app. The app talks only to Apple’s iCloud, and only when you have turned sharing on.

Widgets, Siri & Shortcuts

The Lock Screen and Home Screen widgets read the same on-device data. Siri and Shortcuts actions are processed by Apple on your device under Apple’s privacy policy.

Deleting your data

Tap any entry in the History list (or any bar in the chart) to delete it — a deletion travels to your partner’s phone too. Deleting the app removes the copy on that device; if you turned on sharing, you can also stop sharing and delete the app’s data from iCloud in Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage.

Children

The app is intended for parents and caregivers and collects no data from anyone.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the update will be posted at this address.
